Fabric and technology
|
Fine, slightly micaceous fabric; orange, with orange brown glaze;
sparse sub-angular quartz and grog, with occasional dark brown
iron-ore specks. Usually decorated with fine rouletting or combing.

Forms
|
The small number of vessels in the ware includes jars, bowls (including
hemisperical bowls of Drag. 37 form), cups and beakers.

Probably Wiltshire or north Hampshire.

|
Wiltshire and surrounding counties, with a few examples west of
